Meet at your hotel in Muscat for an early departure. Your journey will begin with a scenic drive through Oman's diverse landscapes, heading toward Nizwa.

Explore the historic Nizwa Fort, one of Oman's most iconic landmarks. Dating back to the 17th century, the fort played a significant role in defending the city. Climb to the top of the tower for panoramic views of Nizwa and its lush palm groves.

Just a short walk from the fort, stop by Nizwa Souq. Famous for its traditional handicrafts, silver jewelry, spices, and pottery, the souq offers a glimpse into the local culture. You'll have free time to shop for souvenirs or simply wander around and observe local life.

After lunch, travel to the ancient village of Birkat al Mouz, located at the foot of Jebel Akhdar. Explore the old ruins and learn about the ancient falaj irrigation system, which is part of the UNESCO-listed Falaj Al Khatmeen.

Begin your ascent to the stunning Jebel Akhdar (The Green Mountain), a part of the Hajar Mountain range. Known for its cooler climate and terraced farms, Jebel Akhdar is famous for its pomegranates, roses, and other crops.

Enjoy lunch at a local Omani resturant and savor some traditional dishes.

Once you reach the plateau, take in the breathtaking views of the valleys below. You'll have the opportunity to visit some of the local farms and see how roses and fruits are grown in this elevated area. There will also be time to visit three local villages (dating back 400-600 years) known for their abandoned houses and terraced fields.

Begin your journey back to Muscat, descending from the mountains and passing through picturesque landscapes.
